ABOUT VLSI SATA CONFERENCE

The VLSI SATA (Systems Architecture, Technology and Applications) conference started with an idea to promote knowledge building, engineering education, research and development activities, and networking to establish and identify research groups and collaboration opportunities. The conference was conceived in 2015, and the first edition and subsequent year (2016) was very successful. However, the conference was on hold and reinstated in 2022. The 2024 edition of VLSI SATA is scheduled during May 17-18.The theme of the conference is “VLSI with AI/ML”

ABOUT AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM UNIVERSITY

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AMRITA), accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC, celebrates the second decade of service to society and humanity. Under the inspiring and motivating leadership of the Divine Mother, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, as Chancellor, AMRITA is marching forward towards higher goals and accomplishments and scaling great heights of excellence. AMRITA was conferred the status of a university under "Section 3 of UGC Act 1956" by the Government of India in 2003. Amrita is spread over seven campuses at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, Kochi, Mysore, and Faridabad in four different states, and another two are upcoming.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers over 150 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in twenty disciplines, including engineering, management, and medicine. It has a student population of around twenty-three thousand and a faculty strength of two thousand and five hundred.

Right from the inception, research has been a very significant activity at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The research activities at AMRITA are directed towards societal, humanitarian, and community development and relief. Many centers of excellence have been started in cutting-edge areas with the support of major national laboratories, industry leaders, and agencies. AMRITA is also a partner in the Indian Government's Ministry of Human Resource Development's National Mission for Education using Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

ABOUT AMRITA SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, BENGALURU CAMPUS

The Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, offers B. Tech. programs in seven disciplines and M. Tech. programs in six disciplines. The school houses over 400 Ph.D. scholars in different disciplines. The curriculum is framed with extensive industry input, and all programs are credit-based. Departments are equipped with modern laboratories, design tools, and software packages. Emphasis is laid on continuous evaluation of students, and faculty serve as class advisors and mentors to students.

The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) is the leading organization that promotes the advancement of the theory, analysis, design, tools, and implementation of circuits and systems. The Society brings engineers, researchers, scientists and others involved in circuits and systems applications access to the industry’s most essential technical information, networking opportunities, career development tools and many other exclusive benefits. CASS Bangalore has been very dynamic in last couple of years. It is one of the best performing society chapters in Bangalore. It has over 350+ members of which around 100 are professional members from industry and academia. Mr Ayan Datta is currently the chair of the CASS society. Society jointly conduct many events cater to the need of all grades of members. VLSI System Architecture, Technology and Applications (VLSI SATA) is the flagship conference of the society jointly organised by Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore Student Branch and CASS student branch chapter.
